Today in Math 11E we reviewed Explorations 1 and 2 and completed exploration 3. (Away today are TJ, Amanda, Amanda B, Stephaney, Genghis, Jeremy and Jordan).
Today in English 11 we read the short story "Alcatraz" - pg 97 textbook - and wrote a paragraph on traditions, which included an example and reference to the senses. (Away today was Owen, Krista, TJ, Jeremy, Jeremy A, and Cole).
Today in SS11 we watched "The Boy in Striped Pajamas" and did a written assignment comparing the movie to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (Away today was Owen, Krista, Cole, Jordan, Jeremy, TJ, and Ben)

Welcome back to WestShore School for the 2011-2012 school year, we are very excited to catch-up and meet all of our new students. About Me
- Tanya Berg
- I am a young but experienced teacher. I graduated from UVic in 2004 and have worked with many diverse learners. I started at the Middle School level in the Sooke district. I then taught at a private school for a year, where I did a lot of coaching and parenting. Currently I am at WestShore School. I started here a few years ago teaching evening course and online courses to adults. Three years ago my sister Dawn and I, along with Devon started the Jump Ahead Program. It has been my life ever since. Besides school, I ride my bike, run and hike whenever I can. As well, I have a character home in Victoria and I spend any extra time with my dog Willow.
